SBI Holdings to launch CFDs on Bitcoin, Ethereum and XRP
On 31 August, the Japanese financial conglomerate SBI plans to launch trading of contracts for difference (CFDs) on Bitcoin, Ethereum and Ripple in pairs with the Japanese yen and the US dollar on the SBI FX Trade platform. Cointelegraph, citing a statement from the company, reports.
A month earlier, the Japanese online broker Monex Group offered such a service. At the same time, the Liquid trading platform added Bitcoin CFDs.
The financial conglomerate SBI is known as a key partner of Ripple. In 2016 they created SBI Ripple Asia, which promotes the use of XRP in Asian financial markets. SBI also plans to integrate the MoneyTap payment app, built on Ripple technology, into Japan’s ATMs.
Earlier, analysts published the financial results of Japanese cryptocurrency exchanges for the 2019 fiscal year.
