The e-commerce platform Shopify will offer merchants new ways to engage with repeat customers through NFTs. According to The Block.

Users can connect cryptocurrency wallets to shops on the platform to verify ownership of certain tokens. In the future, this will grant them access to pre-sales and exclusive merchandise.

The feature had previously been tested in beta among selected merchants.

Last year the company provided a limited group of merchants with the ability to sell NFTs directly, without the involvement of third parties.
