The token issuance was conducted on the LightHouse platform. Sibur invested more than 400 million rubles into DFAs.

The tokens acted as an instrument for intercompany lending, enabling the issuer to place debt in the form of DFAs, and investors to buy it with free cash liquidity at yields higher than a bank deposit.

Participants say the use of tokens will create competition in the corporate short-term lending segment.

Licences for issuing DFAs in Russia are also held by Atomyze, LightHouse, Sberbank, Alfa-Bank, Masterchain, Eurofinance Mosnarbank and Tokeon.

In mid-June, Masterchain carried out its first DFA issue worth 15 billion rubles.
