Shiller, a Web3 startup for live streams, объявил American rapper Snoop Dogg as a co-founder of the project alongside entrepreneur Sam Jones.
“This app truly provides bloggers with a platform for unique interaction with their fans and monetization of content,” said Snoop Dogg.
Shiller’s launch is planned for April 2023.
The aim of the app is to combine online live streams with Web3 technologies. According to the press release, the startup will allow content creators to create their own tokens and digital passes.
Snoop Dogg is a renowned investor in collectible tokens under the pseudonym Cozomo de’ Medici. He released his own NFT collections, including in collaboration with the creator of the meme GIF Nyan Cat, Chris Torres.
The rapper also announced the creation of digital marijuana farms in the MOBLAND project’s metaverse and the launch of a dessert shop in the form of non-fungible tokens.
In February 2022, the musician announced plans to turn his Death Row Records into the first NFT label.
Snoop Dogg and Eminem released a video in collaboration with BAYC, in which they appear as animated apes. Later the rappers performed a track at the MTV Video Music Awards.
