Snoop Dogg unveils NFT dessert shop

American rapper Snoop Dogg has partnered with the Food Fighters Universe restaurant chain and announced conceptual NFT desserts.

According to Decrypt, the rapper’s first NFT desserts will be presented at the Bored & Hungry eatery in Los Angeles. The establishment, inspired by the Bored Ape Yacht Club collection (BAYC), opened in May 2022.

Part of the proceeds from NFT dishes will go toward launching the Dr. Bombay & Dogg dessert shop, named after the rapper’s non-fungible token. The BAYC creator Yuga Labs allows NFT owners to use their tokens for commercial purposes.

According to Snoop Dogg, the new concept will show the world that non-fungible tokens can be “something more than JPEGs”.

Food Fighters Universe supports the development of Web 3.0 and plans to issue 10,000 NFTs to attract investment.

Earlier in September 2021, Snoop Dogg acknowledged that he is behind the Cozomo de’ Medici. He had assembled an NFT collection valued at $17.7 million at the time.

Earlier in February 2022, the rapper announced plans to turn Death Row Records into the first NFT label, whose artists would be active participants in the metaverses.

In April, Snoop Dogg announced the creation of digital marijuana farms in the MOBLAND project’s metaverse.
