Snowden explains his negative stance on meme tokens

The former employee of the NSA and CIA in the United States, Edward Snowden, said that he has a negative attitude toward ‘dog’ tokens such as Dogecoin or Shiba Inu.

According to Snowden, he dislikes such tokens because of his poor sense of humor. He also noted that many people take meme coins seriously and may incur losses.

Against the backdrop of rise in popularity of such assets, scammers have become more active. The Shiba Inu team behind the project warned users about the spread of fake project groups on social media.

Earlier Snowden had urged his Twitter followers to refrain from purchasing the Shiba Inu token.
