Microsoft has integrated an AI generator based on OpenAI’s Sora model into the Bing mobile app. Android and iOS users can create videos using prompts.
OpenAI had previously restricted video generation with Sora to users with a paid subscription. The integration of this tool into Microsoft Bing marks the first instance of offering the technology for free.
Microsoft Bing has launched their Video Creator.
Powered by Sora, you can access this on the Bing mobile app!

Currently, the Video Creator is unavailable on desktop, and video generation may take several hours. It will later be accessible for Copilot Search as well.
Users logged into their Microsoft account can create 10 videos for free. After that, points are required, which are earned through Bing searches or purchases in the Microsoft Store. For instance, 5 points are awarded for each PC query, and 100 are needed for one video.

Users can queue up to three five-second clips simultaneously in a vertical 9:16 aspect ratio. Changing the duration or setting horizontal uploads is not yet possible. The latter feature will be available later.
In April, Microsoft began testing a Copilot update for Windows, which allows AI to analyze the image on the screen and provide tips regarding the functionality of various applications.
