South Africa rugby captain Siya Kolisi features in Luno cryptocurrency advert

The cryptocurrency exchange Luno has published a new video on its YouTube channel featuring the popular South African rugby player Siya Kolisi.

In the video, Kolisi is shown trading digital assets on the Luno platform even during training sessions and massages.

At the end of the video, the slogans Play the long game and Invest for the long term appear.

Kolisi is the first Black captain in the history of South Africa’s national rugby team. In February 2021, he signed a contract with the Sharks club.

According to Cointelegraph, the athlete will head a two-year educational advertising campaign for Luno in South Africa. Kolisi describes himself as a newcomer to the digital assets industry.

Earlier in autumn 2020, Digital Currency Group acquired Luno for an undisclosed sum.

In May 2021, the British regulator recognized the exchange’s advertising in London’s transport network as misleading.
