Spanish bitcoin exchange Bit2Me acquires Dekalabs, a software developer

Spanish cryptocurrency exchange Bit2Me has acquired Dekalabs, a software development company.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

According to CoinDesk, citing the company’s newsletter, the acquisition of Dekalabs will strengthen the trading platform’s position in developing tools based on cryptocurrency and blockchain protocols.

Earlier in February, Bit2Me obtained a license from the Bank of Spain. The exchange became the first licensed provider of digital asset exchange services in the country.

In September, Spain’s largest telecommunications company Telefónica, in partnership with Bit2Me, allowed customers of its online store to pay for purchases in cryptocurrencies.
