Prosegur Crypto’s solution is aimed at government agencies, financial institutions, investment funds and trading platforms. They will be able to access their funds via a mobile app.
In the press release, it states that users’ private keys will be stored in Prosegur’s local infrastructure with a high level of protection. The system will enable managing digital assets, including sending transactions to the blockchain, without direct internet connectivity.
Prosegur is a leading security firm in Spain. It operates with branches in Latin America, Germany and Portugal.
Back in 2018, the London-headquartered transnational private security company G4S launched a service for autonomous storage of Bitcoin and other digital assets.
