Sponge V2 Meme Token Claims Set for May 30

Over 85% of participants in a survey regarding the distribution of staking rewards for the meme token Sponge voted for an instant claim. The project team announced this on X.

The tokens will be available for claim on May 30 at 13:00 (Kyiv/MSK).

Earlier this month, the creators of the meme token announced the launch of Sponge V2 staking. From May 16 to 21, the Sponge team conducted a survey on X about the reward distribution.

“Instant claim will allow you to receive all staking rewards immediately. Keep in mind that this may lead to high volatility due to increased supply volume and unstable price growth,” project representatives warned during the survey.

Sponge is a meme token launched in May 2023 on the Ethereum network. In February 2024, the project migrated to Polygon. In the coming weeks, developers plan to release the Sponge P2E game.

Previously, Synthetix founder Kain Warwick described meme tokens as a “valuable” tool for DEX.
