Starlink internet now available to all Ukrainians

НКЭК has allowed all residents of Ukraine to use terminals to access Starlink satellite internet. This was сообщил the Minister of Digital Transformation, Mykhailo Fedorov.

At the initiative of the State Special Communications Service, during the period of martial law, restrictions on the widespread use of Starlink technology have been lifted. Any member of the public can buy a terminal.

The regulator also amended the Plan for the Use of Radio-Frequency Resources to regulate the operation of SpaceX’s satellite internet.

Earlier the State Special Communications Service of Ukraine stated that citizens would be provided access to Starlink internet после сертификации of the new technology. However, with the participation of Minister Fedorov, this process was accelerated.

Today, more than 10,000 Starlink terminals are involved in transmitting intelligence between Ukraine and its Western allies, and in ensuring control over critical infrastructure.
