The team behind the Telegram bot StarWallet has unveiled an updated version of its cryptocurrency wallet application and launched StarPay, a service for invoicing and receiving payments in cryptocurrency. This was reported to ForkLog by representatives of the project.
StarWallet is a multi-currency custodial Telegram wallet, launched in May 2024. The application supports anonymous exchange of 55 crypto assets with a 0.5% fee. Users of the P2P platform can undergo voluntary verification to prevent fraud.
Payments via StarPay can be accepted through API or a merchant’s personal account. The platform charges a 1% fee and supports 22 languages.
“The ability to create invoices through the account is suitable for those who want to accept cryptocurrency but do not have an online service,” commented StarWallet representatives.
In September, the developers introduced the mini-game STARGAME. Users earn StarCoin (STC) points by guessing the rocket flight coefficient, inviting friends, and completing tasks. In the future, the project team plans to convert points into tokens on The Open Network (TON) blockchain.
Earlier, Telegram introduced a major update that provided mini-apps with full-screen mode, home screen icons, access to geolocation, and other features.
