STEPN developer launches NFT marketplace Mooar
The developer of the Move-to-Earn project M2E-project STEPN, Australian studio Find Satoshi Lab, has launched the NFT marketplace Mooar.
The platform supports tokens issued on Ethereum and Solana. A key feature of the Mooar marketplace is its subscription model — users will pay $30 a month for membership.
There will be no fees on the platform, and GMT will serve as the unit of account.
While competing marketplaces abandon mandatory royalties, Mooar will charge from 0.5% to 10% in favour of NFT creators.
The marketplace also has its own launchpad for new projects from third-party creators, which GMT holders will vote on.
Earlier Find Satoshi Lab launched its own decentralized exchange DOOAR. In the future the studio plans to develop a range of additional GMT-based applications.
The STEPN game, built on Solana and BNB Chain networks, rose to popularity in the spring of 2021. It enables users to earn rewards in GST and GMT for walking or running. To do so, users must purchase sneakers as NFTs.
As сообщила the project team, in the second quarter of 2022 the platform’s profit amounted to $122.5 million.
