The L1 blockchain Sui has resumed operations following an outage lasting 5 hours and 55 minutes. The project team attributed the disruption to an error in the gas calculation logic after the 1.72 update. During this period, validators did not produce new blocks. Amid the incident, the SUI token fell approximately 6.6% to $0.90, before partially recovering to $0.93.
