SuperRare NFT Marketplace Token Surges 176% After Binance Listing

The cryptocurrency exchange Binance announced the listing of the SuperRare (RARE) token from the eponymous NFT marketplace. The token reacted with a rise of 176%, to $3.79, according to CoinMarketCap.

As of writing, the RARE token trades at around $3.35. The asset’s market capitalization reached $340 million.

In August, after the token release, RARE rose by more than 900% in 24 hours. At one point, the quotes topped $3.50.

The SuperRare marketplace provides access to trading non-fungible tokens and the ability to showcase one’s collection to the public.

In March, the platform raised $9 million in a Series A funding round with the participation of billionaire Mark Cuban, investor Chamath Palihapitiya and others.
