Survey: Almost half of crypto traders prefer centralized exchanges

47% of participants ForkLog poll, engaged in trading cryptocurrencies, use only centralized exchanges for this.

Among the 3,015 respondents, nearly 66% engage in trading. Half called it profitable.

The most popular exchange among the poll participants was Binance. 70% of traders trade on it.

Decentralized exchanges (DEX) are used by almost 30% of respondents, with 18% combining them with centralized platforms.

According to CryptoRank analysts, 1.3 million BTC are held on addresses of centralized exchanges — 6.5% of the total market supply.
