The Swiss national postal operator PostFinance and the online bank Swissquote запустили the Yuh app. Its users will be able to invest in Bitcoin, Ethereum and 11 other cryptocurrencies.
The fee for buying and selling digital assets will be 1%. The developers promise to keep it competitive. There are no charges for account management, payments, P2P transfers, and top-ups via debit cards.
In addition to cryptocurrencies, users can trade more than 100 popular stocks and exchange-traded funds. The personal finance management app is available in the App Store and Google Play.
The partners also launched the Swissqoin cryptocurrency. When opening a Yuh account with 500 Swiss francs, clients will receive an equivalent amount in this asset. Additional coins will be allocated for trading and activity in the app.
Swissquote and PostFinance expect Swissqoin to grow thanks to converting a portion of Yuh’s revenue into cryptocurrency.
In 2017, Swissquote added Bitcoin to the list of tradable assets. In 2019, the online bank launched a cryptocurrency custody service.
In 2020, Switzerland approved the legal framework for regulating the digital assets industry.
