Symbiosis Finance adds testnet support for ConsenSys Linea L2 platform

The multi-chain liquidity protocol Symbiosis Finance integrated the second-layer solution developed by ConsenSys based on ZK‑Rollups.

The developer-first approach has always resonated with the Symbiosis ethos.

Support for the mainnet will be added by Symbiosis immediately after launch as one of the project’s exclusive partners, ForkLog representatives said. Users will be able to swap any tokens across Ethereum, zkSync, Optimism and other networks on Linea and back.

The Symbiosis team is also discussing integrating the protocol into the MetaMask wallet, which is backed by ConsenSys.

Recently the multi-chain protocol has recorded several-fold growth in transaction numbers. In the past month the volume of cross-chain swaps exceeded $200 million, and whale activity (transactions over $10,000) rose. Symbiosis largely attributed this to adding support for various rollup solutions.

On June 16, Frax Finance announced the launch of its own L2 blockchain called Fraxchain by the end of the year. In Symbiosis they called this ‘good news’, as the flagship stablecoin FRAX from the DeFi project lies within the protocol’s sphere of interest.

Have you seen the announcement of Frax Chain? Great news btw @fraxfinance ?

Frax Chain in is our scope, but now feel free to swap $FRAX on Symbiosis app ? https://t.co/i0qkOTh9aU pic.twitter.com/W8fdkTPrvJ
