A file containing 774,871 lines of data on Russian, Ukrainian and Belarusian Telegram users was found online. reported by the Telegram channel \”Information Leaks\”.

The database contains the following information:

According to the channel’s authors, the data were obtained by [simple_tooltip content=\’automated collection and sorting of data with certain parameters\’]parsing[/simple_tooltip] of the messenger, and they do not belong to any known Telegram database.

Earlier in 2020, a database of about 900 MB containing information on several million Telegram users was found on a darknet forum. It contained phone numbers, nicknames and unique identifiers.

At the time, representatives of the messenger acknowledged the existence of the database and said that such information is collected \”through abuse of the built-in contacts import feature during user registration\”. However, according to them, most of the data at the time of publication was already outdated.
