The Open Network to Distribute 30 Million Toncoin to Active Community Members
The developers of The Open Network (TON) blockchain have announced the distribution of 30 million Toncoin (over $125 million at the time of writing) to users participating in ecosystem projects.
Starting April 1st, the team will distribute coins over a month for activities in four areas:
- league — a competition for Web3 project developers;
- token mining — creating convenient mechanisms for obtaining native coins;
- quests and airdrops — a step-by-step introduction to using TON projects and token distribution;
- increasing the ecosystem’s liquidity pool.
According to the developers, the program aims to expand TON’s user base. Details of each area can be found in the team’s blog.
Earlier in March, the TON blockchain account on X was hacked to promote a fake airdrop. Developers promised to compensate all affected users.
