The Sandbox announces partnership with Renault Korea Motors in South Korea

The Sandbox team entered into a partnership with Renault Korea Motors to offer users new ways to use cars in the metaverse.

As part of the collaboration, The Sandbox will also support the manufacturer’s marketing programs aimed at “new generations well acquainted with the digital environment.”

“This partnership is an excellent example of how The Sandbox collaborations can evolve without any industry boundaries. We can offer new kinds of services that merge cars and digital assets in the virtual world,” said Cindy Li, CEO of The Sandbox Korea.

Since the beginning of 2022, virtual land parcels in the project’s metaverse have been acquired by the Italian Gucci fashion house, the British banking giant HSBC, and the Hong Kong arm of Standard Chartered.

In May, Dubai’s crypto market regulator announced the opening of its headquarters in The Sandbox’s virtual world.

In July, the metaverse announced a partnership with the South Korean bank KEB Hana.
