Tom Lee: $90,000 is a good entry point into bitcoin

In 2025, digital gold will be among the most attractive assets for investors, says Fundstrat co-founder Tom Lee.

The analyst said the current 15% correction is normal for a volatile asset like bitcoin. Such moves are typical early in the halving cycle; historically, each reduction in miners’ rewards has been followed by a notable drop.

According to Fundstrat, the price of the first cryptocurrency could fall to the $70,000 and $50,000 levels; however, that would mark a “bottom” before a rally.

“Bitcoin should be viewed from a long-term perspective. I do not think anyone will lose money buying now at $90,000,” Lee stressed.

He reiterated his previous forecast that the first cryptocurrency could reach $250,000 during 2025, adding that digital gold will be among the best-performing assets.

At the time of writing, bitcoin is trading around $95,500 with a market capitalisation of $1.89 trillion.
