The Open Network (TON) blockchain has exceeded 1 billion transactions, with half of these occurring in the past three months, according to TONScan data.
Meanwhile, TON’s technical director Anatoly Makosov, citing the TON API, reported a figure of 1.3 billion transactions.
At the time of writing, the TPS stands at 92.41.
Concurrently, the network is experiencing an outflow of TVL, which has decreased from a July peak of $776.6 million to $344.89 million.
The native coin Toncoin is in the “red zone,” having lost 3.9% in 24 hours and is trading at $5.16 at the time of writing, according to CoinGecko.
Back in August, the TON blockchain halted operations twice due to extreme load related to the listing of DOGS and loss of consensus among validators.
