The perpetrators announced the distribution of the coin among its active users.

At the time of writing, control over the account has been restored.

Update:

Later, TON developers reported that the incident was related to a Calendly integration.

“We have cancelled this integration and taken further steps to enhance the security of our systems,” they wrote in a tweet.

Project representatives also promised to compensate all affected users who sent funds to the phishing link.

Earlier in March, the native token of the TON blockchain rose by 10% following news of a potential IPO by Telegram.
