TON Resumes Operations After Brief Outage

On June 1st, the blockchain The Open Network (TON) experienced a brief outage. The network resumed operations approximately 40 minutes after the issue was detected.

The incident halted block production. Project representatives reported that the cause was an error in the masterchain dispatch queue.

The TON team released a “quick fix,” ensuring user funds were not affected. Transactions sent during the downtime were not at risk of loss.

At the time of writing, Toncoin is trading at $3.14 (-0.1% for the day), according to CoinGecko. Over the week, the coin’s price has risen by 4.7%.

In April 2025, TON President Manuel Stotz discussed Telegram’s path to becoming a “Web3 super app,” particularly through the integration of payment solutions.
