The developers of the Tornado Cash Classic protocol have fully opened the source code of the user interface (UI).
Now anyone can view the current fixed-rate pools interface and propose their own edits.
“Technically, you can fork the repository, improving it with new features and design, after which you can submit a pull request to include the changes,” the project team said.
Thus, Tornado Cash is taking a step toward greater decentralisation. Since 2020, a lighter version has been available that lets users run the Tornado Cash UI locally, while the official UI is available from several IPFS mirrors.
In April, Tornado Cash announced the blocking of sanctioned addresses at the frontend level.
