Trader identifies ‘strategically important’ level of Bitcoin price support

On the hourly timeframe the compression began to unwind with moderate efficiency. But selling remains weaker, the pullback wave is extremely inactive, which fits into the overall logic of JOC + BTC (NR).

To confirm the pattern, cluster filtering or BUN from the $16,000 level will be needed. But the fact that OB has already been tested and a shadow rejection with a 0.5 test has been obtained gives the edge of the probability of a rapid resumption of buying dynamics from approximately the level.

On the five-minute chart, there is a fairly stable downward context, but the main liquidity pool sits at $16,500. The latter will provide substantial fuel for price movement and could spark an impulse if a breakout is followed by a sustained move.

Potential long entries should be filtered from higher timeframes, using the lower timeframe when approaching an obvious level with Creek. The chart already indicates weakening of selling in the support-bar zone; all that remains is the appearance of a large buyer.

Analysis of Horizontal Volumes and Deltas

Bitcoin has recently hit a new high again, preserving an uptrend. On the downside, at the retest, support at the level is being held via limit orders, indicating support for the uptrend.

However, the overall cumulative sell delta points to a potential deep correction, as it signals aggressive selling. During a correction, the key zone will be $15,870-$15,900.

Maintaining this level is strategically important for continuing the up move. Its breach would signal an inevitable return to balance and a move toward lower values.
