Traders peg Coinbase valuation at $100 billion

The Coinbase share price on Nasdaq Private Market reached $373. This implies a valuation of around $100.3 billion for the largest U.S. crypto exchange, according to The Block.

Nasdaq Private Market lets the exchange’s shareholders sell their existing shares before the company becomes publicly listed.

Earlier, Reuters, citing sources, reported in July 2020 that Coinbase was preparing for an IPO.

Earlier, traders on the FTX cryptocurrency-derivatives exchange valued Coinbase at more than $90 billion.
