According to the announcement, the Bitcoin ‘inscription’ named One-of-One will be available to those who purchased 100 of the politician’s original cards using ‘wrapped’ ETH.
A total of 200 such tokens will be available, with 99 already reserved. Collectors can claim their ‘inscriptions’ at a later date.
The initiative is launched in partnership with the NFT marketplace Magic Eden.
The creators of Trump’s cards reiterated that the product is intended solely for personal use, not for investment. All tokens from the Trump: MugShot Edition collection are non-transferable until December 2024.
The first collection earned the former U.S. president between $100,001 and $1 million.
Non-fungible tokens from the second set sold out in ten minutes, generating revenue between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The starting price for each asset was $99.
At the end of 2023, Trump released a collection of cards featuring his mugshot.
In December, analysts at Arkham Intelligence recorded the sale of Ethereum worth approximately $2.4 million from an address allegedly linked to the politician.
