
Trust Wallet Returns to Google Play Store
On April 29, the team behind Binance-owned Trust Wallet announced the removal of their app from the Google Play Store.

According to the announcement, Google had notified the service weeks earlier about potential enforcement actions, prompting the team to file an appeal. However, the corporation decided to remove the app before completing the review of the appeal.
Less than an hour later, Trust Wallet reappeared on the Play Store.

“Well, that was sorted quickly,” the company noted.
Despite the app’s removal, the wallet’s APK installation file remained available for download from the service’s official website. The Trust Wallet team also warned about fake apps that had begun appearing on the marketplace.
Earlier, Trust Wallet had alerted iOS users to a zero-day exploit targeting the iMessage service. The vulnerability allows an attacker to infiltrate an iPhone without using malicious links.
Back in November 2023, the team behind the custodial Lightning wallet, Wallet of Satoshi, decided to remove their app from the App Store and Google Play in the US and ceased servicing American clients.
