Two million DOGE that had lain dormant for nine years move

On 5 February, an unknown address moved 2,043,137 DOGE, which had been dormant since 31 December 2013. The Whale Alert service flagged the activity.

The first transaction sent 10,176 DOGE to an anonymous address, and a few minutes later the remaining 2,032,961 DOGE were sent to another wallet.

The holder invested just over $800 in them. At the time of writing, the aggregate value of the coins exceeds $187,000, according to CoinGecko.

Earlier, in April 2022, unknown actors moved 250 BTC from five wallets that had been dormant for more than 12 years.
