MMA fighter Frankie Edgar says he bought his first cryptocurrency.
In response, Twitter user Darren Coleman wrote that Edgar bought Bitcoin too late. In his view, the digital asset “is unlikely to rise” from this level and “may even crash.”
Another commenter, Daniel Torres, advised Edgar to buy Dogecoin (DOGE). On April 16, the price of the token approached the $0.40 mark. According to CoinGecko, over the past week DOGE rose 411%.
Earlier, MMA fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov opened pre-orders for gold and platinum NFT cards from his own collection.
Earlier, NFL player Rob Gronkowski sold an NFT collection for 830 ETH — more than $2 million at the time of writing.
