The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine is testing the capabilities of the ChatGPT chatbot for its further integration into the Diia app. This was stated by the head of the ministry, Mykhailo Fedorov, at «Business Breakfast с Владимиром Федориным», organised by Forbes.
According to him, the Ministry’s team is studying the possibility of integrating the technology into Diia’s support service in collaboration with Microsoft.
«We want to teach the artificial intelligence to quickly provide answers about obtaining services and the operation of the state,» said Fedorov.
In the future, the ministry plans to use ChatGPT to analyse the services used by citizens.
In addition, Fedorov said that the authorities intend to complete the digitisation of the most popular government services by the end of 2023.
In November 2022, OpenAI introduced ChatGPT.
In February 2023, the chatbot officially became available in Ukraine.
