
Ukrainian government websites hit by DDoS attack
Several Ukrainian government websites stopped loading. Among them, at the time of writing, were the Cabinet of Ministers, the Verkhovna Rada, the Security Service, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
Head of the Ministry of Digital Transformation, Mykhailo Fedorov stated that access issues to resources are occurring amid a massive DDoS attack.
“This is related to rerouting traffic to another provider to minimize the damage from the attack”, he said.
According to him, a number of banks have also reported DDoS-attacks.
The State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection confirmed the incident.
On February 15, Ukrainian banks and government sites were subjected to DDoS-attack. It was dubbed the most extensive in the country’s history.
