In their 2020 declarations, Ukrainian officials reported a total of 46,351 BTC. This is evidenced by data from the public registry data monitoring service Opendatabot.
652 officials declared cryptocurrency. The largest amount of bitcoins was recorded by Vyacheslav Mishalov, a member of the Dnipro City Council, with 18,000 BTC (over $1 billion at the time of writing).
The majority of officials who declared cryptocurrency prefer to hold bitcoin (61%), the second-most popular is Ethereum, followed by Litecoin.
The largest share of cryptocurrency holders is among city council officials, the Ministry of Defence and the National Police.
Among the deputies of the Verkhovna Rada by bitcoin holdings, Anatoliy Urbansky leads with 4,256 BTC.
