Uniswap Labs hires former Obama press secretary

Public relations specialist Hari Sevugan has joined the Uniswap Labs team, the operator of the largest decentralised platform Uniswap.

According to Sevugan, there is no longer any doubt that blockchain and cryptocurrencies will be part of the future.

In the new role, Sevugan will be tasked with establishing Uniswap Labs’ communications with the public, including ‘helping the company tell its story to existing and new users, as well as managing engagement with the media’.

Sevugan served as senior press secretary to Barack Obama during the 2008 presidential campaign. The Washington Post at the time described some of the future American leader’s lines as ‘sharp and memorable’.

Earlier in September, media reported that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission was investigating Uniswap Labs.
