Uniswap unveils mobile wallet for Android

Developers behind the decentralized exchange Uniswap have unveiled a crypto wallet for the Android operating system.

“First Uniswap was launched on iOS in April and in less than a month ranked among the top-3 wallets by downloads. Now we offer Android users a simpler and safer way to swap”, the blog says.

Among the wallet’s features:

• Detection of ‘top tokens’;
• automatic switching between the main L2 network;
• swaps ‘in a fraction of a second’;
• a swap-protection feature to guard against MEV.

The beta version of the app supports Ethereum, Polygon, Optimism and Arbitrum — as listed on the company’s site. The developers have pledged to integrate other networks in the near future.

Earlier, Uniswap Labs unveiled a liquidity-aggregation protocol for the decentralized exchange UniswapX.
