Uniswap’s Browser Extension Now Open to All Users

The browser extension for Chrome, announced in February by the leading non-custodial exchange Uniswap, is now available to all users.

Say goodbye to pop-ups. And hello to the sidebar.

Market participants can create a new wallet or import an existing one. The extension supports 11 networks — Arbitrum, Avalanche, Base, Blast, BNB Chain, Celo, Ethereum, Optimism, Polygon, ZKsync, and Zora Network.

“The Uniswap extension is in your browser’s sidebar, staying with you wherever you are on the internet. No more pop-ups or easily lost transactions. Swap, sign transactions, send or receive crypto right from the sidebar,” Uniswap Labs representatives emphasized.

Since the extension’s announcement, nearly 800,000 users have joined the waiting list.

Uniswap remains the largest DEX in the decentralized finance segment. Its TVL exceeds $5.6 billion, according to DeFi Llama. In the overall ranking of dapps, the non-custodial platform ranks seventh.

Earlier, the developers of Uniswap Wallet announced fiat support through a partnership with the payment company Transak.
