Unstoppable Domains has launched a decentralized messaging service with end-to-end encryption via Web3 domains Web3. The service is built on the XMTP protocol.
Unstoppable Messaging will enable secure communication with users on other XMTP-enabled platforms, such as Coinbase Wallet and Lens apps. To do this, you will need to enter your wallet address or domain.
The developers of Unstoppable Domains plan to allow other applications to use the service via Push Protocol to send messages to their communities.
The information is encrypted and stored on the XMTP decentralized network.
Users can access their chats on any XMTP platform; their messages remain intact regardless of what happens to Unstoppable. They can also block other platform users from contacting them.
In July, Unstoppable Domains integrated the .eth domain names, supplied by the platform Ethereum Name Service (ENS).
Earlier, the company introduced a service for the Polygon network. New user addresses end with .polygon.
