On September 10, the US released negative producer inflation data. In response, Bitcoin climbed back to $114,000 for the first time since late August, while Ethereum rose to $4,400.
The Producer Price Index stood at 2.6% year-on-year—the lowest level since June. This figure was below the expected 3.3% and marked a decline from the previous level of 3.3%.
In August, the index was -0.1% against a forecast of 0.3% and a previous figure of 0.9%.
Solana showed the largest gain among the top 10 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization. The asset’s price increased by 3% to $223, with quotes briefly reaching $225—the highest since January.
BNB gained 2.6% and reached a new all-time high above $900. The rise coincided with the announcement of a partnership between Binance and the American investment firm Franklin Templeton, which manages $1.6 trillion.
The parties plan to develop joint solutions in the digital assets sector. According to a press release shared with ForkLog by the exchange, they will combine Franklin Templeton’s expertise in tokenization with Binance’s infrastructure to create new solutions.
“Our partnership with Binance will enable us to launch innovative products that meet the stringent standards of global capital markets and jointly develop next-generation investment portfolios,” said Franklin Templeton’s Executive Vice President Roger Bayston.
Details of the collaboration and the launch of new products will be presented later this year.
On September 11, data on the Consumer Price Index for August will be released. Unity Wallet’s Chief Operating Officer James Toledano noted that these figures will be crucial for the Federal Reserve’s final decision on the key rate.
“Lower values often fuel optimism about policy easing and stimulate crypto market growth, while higher values provoke corrections. Historical patterns confirm the sensitivity of digital assets to inflation data as an indicator of monetary policy direction,” he added.
Earlier, experts outlined market dynamics before and after the Federal Reserve meeting.
