Users flood Justin Sun’s wallet with meme tokens

Analysts at PeckShieldAlert recorded numerous transfers of meme tokens to the wallet of Tron founder Justin Sun.

According to Etherscan, he was gifted several different coins, including WEED, METH and NGMI.

Security experts also warned that, amid the hype, a group of attackers created a fake token FOUR to impersonate the Tron founder.

“Scammers impersonate Justin Sun, buying tons of fake FOUR and transferring them to the crypto exchange Poloniex. Do not become a victim,” PeckShieldAlert explained.

According to аналитика The Block Research Стивена Чжэна, this is a fairly common ploy. The attackers ‘pump’ gullible investors, creating the impression that the meme-coin market is about to take off.

“Часто мошенники и промоутеры отправляют свои токены на популярные адреса влиятельных лиц, чтобы обманом заставить людей покупать их монеты”, — добавил Чжэн.

Earlier, Justin Sun stated his intention to “actively trade” meme tokens. He stated that he would personally bear losses from the operations, and the profits would be donated to charity.

In April, the PEPE token surged severalfold, turning some holders of the coin into millionaires.

In May, an unknown paid a $120 000 commission to buy the meme cryptocurrency FOUR for $156 000. According to the community, the investor managed to realize a profit of $240 000.
