VanEck to launch NFT collection on the Ethereum blockchain

An asset-management company VanEck will launch an NFT collection on the Ethereum blockchain. Its clients among holders of digital tokens will receive privileges such as early access to the firm’s research and various events.

“Art is a good example [of NFT usage], but not the only one. NFTs are used to tokenise almost everything — P2E assets, real estate, collectibles, and so on. […] A digital membership card is the best way to describe the VanEck Community NFT,” according to the пресс-релизе.

The VanEck Community NFT collection consists of 1,000 tokens of varying quality. Their distribution will take place on 5 May 2022. To acquire an NFT, one must sign up on the waitlist.

Users will receive pre-release NFTs. “By the end of May” each token will transform into the final version. The digital items are created using the Unreal Engine 5 graphics engine.

Earlier, VanEck CEO Jan van Eck заявил that blockchain technology will completely revolutionise Wall Street. In his words, he is “amazed by the NFT phenomenon”.

As noted, in VanEck allowed Bitcoin to rise to $4.8 million when transformed into a reserve asset.
