Venezuela’s Pizza Hut branch begins accepting Bitcoin

The American Pizza Hut chain has begun accepting Bitcoin and other digital currencies in its Venezuelan branches. The processing service Cryptobuyer served as partner.

The American chain’s restaurants are located in the capital Caracas, and in the cities of Maracay, Maracaibo and Barquisimeto.

Customers at the outlets can pay with Bitcoin, Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), Dash (DASH), Binance USD (BUSD), Binance Coin (BNB), Tether (USDT), Dai (DAI) and the Cryptobuyer native token (XPT).

Head of the Pizza Hut branch, Richard ElKhuri, in a comment to the local publication ElAxioma noted that using digital assets for payments will attract young and “technologically advanced customers.”

In January 2020, Cryptobuyer implemented support for several cryptocurrencies for Burger King customers in Venezuela.
