Verasity launches airdrop to mark esports tournament

On September 21, the blockchain platform for distributing games and video Verasity launched the esports tournament Ultimate Warrior Showdown for PUBG Mobile for teams from Asia. In honor of the event, Verasity and the cryptocurrency exchange OKEx are conducting an airdrop of VRA and OKB tokens for users from all countries.

Verasity is a blockchain platform for promoting games, video advertising and applications. Game developers and video creators publish content on Verasity and host tournaments.

The platform rewards users with native VRA tokens for watching videos and participating in esports competitions. VRA can be withdrawn to a Vera Wallet or used on the platform: for staking, paying for advertising and organizing tournaments.

The Verasity PUBG Mobile tournament will run until October 2. It consists of a qualifying stage and a final. In the final, the winners of the qualifying stage will face invited teams: South Korea\’s T1, China\’s Nova Esports, Nepal\’s Elementrix and others.

The Ultimate Warrior Showdown features 3,500 players: 750 teams from 12 countries. It is streamed on the Esports Fight Club tournament platform in English, Chinese and Korean.

Ultimate Warrior Showdown is backed by game publisher Tencent Games, the Athena Games app store and the crypto exchange OKEx.

“Through the tournament we want to introduce gamers to blockchain and cryptocurrencies. In the future we plan to run new tournaments in Europe and North America in partnership with major crypto exchanges and leaders of the gaming industry,” said Verasity representatives.
