ViaBTC Integrates Dogecoin into Crypto Loan Service

The crypto loan service of mining pool ViaBTC has incorporated Dogecoin (DOGE) as a collateral asset and reduced interest rates to 0.025% per day. This was announced in a blog post by the platform.

The updated service is particularly relevant for miners who frequently need to cover operational expenses such as electricity, rent, and equipment maintenance. Instead of selling cryptocurrency during unfavorable market conditions, users can pledge a portion of their assets to obtain necessary liquidity.

“We considered the needs of miners and community feedback when developing the update. Instant loans in USDT are now available against Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Litecoin (LTC), and Dogecoin (DOGE) without undergoing KYC procedures,” ViaBTC representatives note.

The service team has also reduced the interest rate to 0.025% per day. The new terms apply to all loans issued after the update.

To obtain a loan, users simply need to transfer DOGE to a special collateral account, and the USDT amount will instantly appear in their credit balance. The pledged assets remain the property of the client and serve only as temporary security.

The updated service can be accessed on the ViaBTC website in the crypto loans section.

ViaBTC is a mining pool operating since 2016. In the merged mining segment of Litecoin and Dogecoin, the pool ranks first globally with a 32% share of the total hashrate.

As of June 2025, ViaBTC serves approximately 1.7 million users and controls over 12% of Bitcoin’s hashrate, ranking among the top three pools.
