Trust Wallet founder Viktor Radchenko уйдет from the role of chief executive of the cryptocurrency wallet to devote more time to his family and other projects.
“Trust Wallet has been my life’s work since 2017. Today tens of millions of users trust us to store their crypto assets, for which I am eternally grateful,” he said.
The post of Trust Wallet CEO will be filled by Binance’s current vice president of marketing, Eowin Chen.
“We, along with our incredible community, will continue to drive the mass adoption of cryptocurrencies and Web 3.0. I am amazed at how much the Trust Wallet team has achieved under Viktor’s leadership,” she said.
Binance founder and CEO Changpeng Zhao also noted Radchenko’s achievements in developing Trust Wallet and thanked him for his efforts. The Bitcoin exchange acquired the crypto wallet in 2018.
In March 2022, Trust Wallet was temporarily unavailable on the App Store. The developers said they were actively working on a fix.
A few days later, Trust Wallet returned to the App Store, but was unavailable to users in Russia. In the ‘Terms of Use’ on the company’s site, the app is stated to be governed by the laws of the State of California.
