Waves team launches mobile game Waves Duck Hunt

The Waves blockchain platform has launched the augmented-reality game Waves Duck Hunt for iOS and Android. This was announced in the project’s blog.

Players hunt for golden eggs with Waves Ducks NFTs, SPICE tokens and other items. They level up and unlock abilities that help them earn rewards more quickly.

Waves Duck Hunt operates on a Play-to-Earn model. Items can be sold or used in the Waves Ducks metaverse:

• breed in Waves Ducks to obtain a more valuable specimen;
• stake them for passive earnings;
• sell on Waves Ducks Marketplace;
• play in Duck Wars and Metarace.

To register, you need to provide an email address and a password. Linking a wallet is optional. The first 10,000 players will receive NFT hats, which can be sold or used to customize the non-fungible Waves Ducks tokens.

The soft launch of Waves Duck Hunt took place in September 2022. Since then, 1,999 users have joined the game, covering 645 km and collecting 20,000 golden eggs with in-game items worth $40,000.

Back in April 2021, Waves founder Sasha Ivanov sold Waves Duck «Perfection» for 1 million USDN.
