Waves Team Launches Units.Network Testnet

The developers of Waves have launched the testnet for Units.Network, a solution for interoperability between Ethereum, BNB Chain, Solana, and other blockchains. This was reported to ForkLog by representatives of the project.

To participate in the testing, one must set up a node. Technical requirements and installation instructions can be found in the Unit Zero documentation.

“Waves acts as a Layer 0 (L0) for Units.Network. Waves nodes are used to ensure consensus across all Layer 1 (L1) networks, while Units.Network supports interaction between them,” commented the developers of Units.Network.

Waves is a blockchain for deploying smart contracts and launching decentralized applications. Its ecosystem includes the Keeper wallet, DeFi protocols WX Network, Axly, Swop.fi, Puzzle Swap, the mobile game Waves Duck Hunt, and other projects. The WAVES token is traded on Binance, HTX, and Bybit.

Earlier, ForkLog published an interview with Waves founder Sasha Ivanov about Units.Network, the Power protocol, the rivalry between Ethereum and Solana, and plans for the platform’s development.
