Whale share of Ethereum’s supply reaches 39%
As of October 27, the share of the Ethereum circulating supply held by whales stands at 39%, and 11% in Bitcoin. Such data is provided by Proof-of-Stake algorithm with the possibility of staking.
Some members of the community may view the high whale share as a natural state of affairs, while others view it as a contradiction to the decentralized spirit of cryptocurrencies and as a risk of manipulation.
